urbanoveralls.netEco Jarz Product Review

Are you looking for a way to green this year?  We are skipping the plastic bottles and using these lids.  Now while that doesn’t sound like a big deal, this product allows you to skip the plastic and use a wide mouth canning jar as the container.  This lid fit my Mason, Kerr, and Ball jars.  This is a real plus as I don’t have to stop and remember which brand it fits.  They allow us to transform an ordinary canning jar into a very trendy drinking vessel.

Hello glass.  Bye bye plastic bottles.

We use them for different types of beverages both at home and when we are on the go.  Water, tea, juices, and even some smoothies (and if you are a smoothie fan, the small brush… straw cleaner… definitely is handy.  Or you prefer, place them in the dishwasher.

The set includes: 4 Classic Lids (a wide-mouth coffee lid, small-mouth green lid, and a wide and small mouth stainless steel lid), a PopTop, 2 Smoothie Straws, and a Straw Cleaner.

The lids are a wonderful give away. I am not on Facebook, but I look forward to seeing who won the give away on a post.

We have several of the lids (as well as drinking straw and straw brush) and they are very handy. No more plastic bottles.

They are sure handy. It is so easy to put one of these toppers on a canning jar. Now you are ready to drink on the go or have a nice drinking container for home.

Welcome to Urban Overalls

I’m Connie. Growing up on a farm in rural Iowa taught me me many lessons: raising chickens, growing produce, enjoying raw milk, how to cook from scratch using whole foods, canning, mending clothes, and the importance of being someone who gives back to the community.

Now, living in an urban setting, I brought my country ways with me. Join us as Mr. Overalls and I share our adventures, recipes, and how-to in our daily lives on our 1/3 acre slice of heaven near the center of town.
